What happens
- Consultation: a short, free visit. Bring photos of where you want to end up, and tell us what's been on your hair, including box dye.
- The plan: we tell you how many visits it should take and what each one costs.
- The correction: we remove or lift the color that's there, then rebuild the shade you want.
- The finish: every correction ends with your hair washed and styled.
- What's next: if it takes more than one visit, we book the next one before you leave.
How it works
Hair that's been colored many times, or lightened at home, can only take so much in one sitting, which is why some corrections are planned over more than one visit. (Kim, Oh and Chang, Applied Microscopy, 2024 (opens in a new tab))

Questions clients ask
Can you fix brassy tones?
Usually. Brassy means warmer than you wanted, with orange or yellow showing through. We look at your hair and its history at the consultation, then plan how to bring the tone back toward the shade you want.
What is banding, and can it be fixed?
Banding is color that sits in uneven stripes along the length of the hair. We look at how the bands sit, then plan how to even them out, sometimes over more than one visit.
Can you fix box dye?
Usually, yes. Tell us what you used at your consultation; it changes the plan.
How many sessions will it take?
Plans vary with your hair's history and the result you want. Yours is set at the free consultation, so you know how many visits to expect, and what each costs, before we start.
How long is an appointment?
120 min, longer for bigger changes.
Will it damage my hair?
Lifting color always affects the hair. (He et al., Frontiers in Medicine, 2023 (opens in a new tab)) We plan the correction to protect its condition, and spread it over visits when needed.
